How in the heck do you emulate this? I tried Yabause but when I chose a game to run, nothing happened. I tried Mednafaren or whatever and the application just doesn't start.

Drop the iso on to the mefafen.exe

Use SSF on Windows. It requires you to use physical CDs instead of files. This is easily solved by using a free virtual cd drive like Daemon Tools.

>Download RetroArch

>Get the RetroArch BIOS pack from here:
http://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Emulator_Files#Multi-System

and extract it to your Retroarch/system directory.

>Online Updater -> Core Updater -> Sega Saturn (Beetle Saturn)

>Don't forget, if there is a .bin and a .cue file always load the .cue.

holy shit how do I remap controls? if I click on it then it automatically changes to something else, like it's cycling through, then it eventually just stops and I can't cycle through again, and actually pushing the keys I want doesn't work

It's almost like they mindlessly copied some other UI without making any changes to better suit its purpose.

Anyway, I don't think I've ever played any Saturn games. Now I want to play Xanadu, but what other good games are there?

I tried emulating it too and nothing works. It's better just to play the Sega Saturn with a CRT TV. Emulation is always shit.

In most cases emulation is sufficient but I think it's better to just burn games to discs and play on the Saturn itself.

hearing how the panzer dragoon saga soundtrack is butchered on emulators is the worst thing ever.

SSF doesn't require you to use CDs, just go download some virtual drive software and make sure you avoid malware

Mednafen does Saturn too and a whole bunch of other consoles too, I recommend that over both of these. If you're on a Core 2 or something, don't bother

Trying to find Saturn roms....

Romdepot doesn't have the full set, and the links itt don't work.

Anyone got any locales to get them? I'm sick of having to hunt shit down so I'm just gonna get them all and back them up permenantly on my network.

Emuparadise is one of the oldest rom sites around.. you dont know of them?

The fuck is wrong with you.

Emuparadise sucks for ISOs, they host a lot of bad rips. Just use the links in the sticky.

Yeah, retroarch's UI is a trainwreck on fire. The underlying code's kinda shit, too, but it works for some stuff anyway.

I use OpenEmu with three Saturn BIOS files I found, now it all works but only if I use Darkwater roms off of the Iso Zone.

Good luck.
