One game that surprised me pleasantly was Tenchu, I burned a copy of the import and beat it before its US release. Oh! And Choro Q. The Playstation ones are super fun especially 2.

The physics are kartlike but the tuning is legit and the little world is so fun and happy. Like a little toon town but one that's actually all about racing. Don't just grab the PS2 one or Penny Racers on N64 play one of the original Tamsoft games on PS1.

I always love seeing people talk about this game. I was lucky enough to get it before I even got INTO anime, before I realized why G13 is such a badass. Needless to say, I was surprised that such an obvious 'rest' passed by the Nintendo censors in both games.

Not at all. Top Secret Episode is balls to the wall hard(good luck when you get to the Amazon...even Greece is going to be a huge spike), but definitely awesome in its story if can keep it straight.
Mafat Conspiracy is better in its execution, and aside from one 'TWEEST', it's story is pretty standard East vs West tension. I like the sniper sections better in MC though, even though its frustrating only getting one shot.
