GBC Mario golf may possibly be the greatest 2D golf game ever made.
But I would recommend you play the Hot Shots Golf series instead (skip 1 perhaps as it hasn't aged well) They're made by the same developer, but feel a bit more tight & refined than Mario Golf. Plus hard copies are significantly cheaper, since there's no Nintendo tax with them.

Depends.
Look at your cart pins.
Are they gold plated, or tin?
Now look at the cart. Gold or tin?

The standard electrode potentials tell you that the contact point will corrode each other. Look at your rainwater gutter when copper meets zinc.

Almost all exposed contacts will either be Gold plated or Tin.
Older stuff may be a tin/lead alloy.

Rarely you will see OSP copper, but that doesn't have a long shelf life, so it corrodes all on its own after a few years.

So, yeah, 90% tin or gold, and they corrode each other when they touch.

Galvanic Corrosion is a bitch.
