I just recently found out about Gloom and I desperately wish to play it, are there any reccomended emulators or tutorials on how to get it to run on a windows PC?

Get WinUAE and some kickstart roms, then have a play around with the settings. It's not hard really, but you may struggle to find the kickstart roms - at least I did a few years back.

As already said, get Gloom Deluxe, not Gloom. It's literally the same game but with better graphics options. It's an odd game, it's not even a Doom clone, it's more of a Wolfenstein clone if even that. It's pretty crude but understands this and plays to its own strengths - there's only one gun that you just upgrade to make stronger and a lot of the time it plays as a kind of Robotron style arena shooter only in first person rather than the style of Doom or even most other retro FPS games.
Also works surprisingly well played with a CD32 pad (Winuae will automatically map an Xbox /PS pad to the right buttons if you choose CD32 pad in the options), although annoyingly you cannot strafe and turn at the same time.
