Is there any way to send games to a floppy disk from a modern computer? Like can I download the game, put it on a floppy, and run it in my Apple ii? Also, is there any cheaper alternative to a control stick?

You can but not bothering with the actual floppy best way to go. An analog stick, some buttons and a few other bits is cheaper alternative.

Apple II floppy emulators are no less bothersome than just having your things on a floppy and uselessly expensive.
Just writing your own floppies with ADTPro (you can use both sides you know) and swapping between them is far easier, or if you have the memory, just mount floppy images straight from the computer over serial with ADTPro.

OP here. Thanks! This really helped me out a lot. I guess I'm still kind of unfamiliar to this, pardon my inexperience, so this doesn't copy games to the disk but sends it straight to the hardrive through my computer? Or do I still have to send them to a floppy. Also, do I need a convention too for a cord?

What else did you mean? Rarely people have enough memory in their Apple II's to run virtual floppies over serial.

Do you have a hard drive on your IIe?
The number one purpose of it is to send floppy images to the Apple II and write them straight onto floppy, then you can use that floppy like you would with a normal floppy from the old days.
It can do tricks like sending to memory or running them straight from your PC, but this requires lots of memory or is iffy at best.

If you have a serial card, you can build a serial cable, that's the fastest.
But, as you have a IIe, you can use pic related, between your IIe and the headphone jack of your PC. Standard 3.5mm aux cable.
ADTPro also works with that cable.
But, there is also this, it will send the software/games over the 3.5mm audio cable onto your Apple IIe, just like it would be loading from tape.

easier way. plug a jack to your apple ii and plug it in your phone. Then search "apple ii games server online" on google and go to this website. it basically replaces the apple ii tape recorder and uses your phone's soundcard to play the tape data. Crazy load time tho but it's still better than paying 50$ for a single game
