Not really. It used the SFX2 chip, so comparing it to the base SNES hardware is not accurate. It wasn't terribly impressive. In fact, it could have been much better, but it was rushed out with a greater focus on content than quality.

The only good retro compilation by Capcom on modern consoles are Capcom Arcade Cabinet and the physical version of the Dungeons & Dragons collection exclusive to the PS3 in Japan (very different from the one that was released digitally available).
