Both are great.
I guess you get what you expect. A Mario Kart in 3D. They didnt messed it up although i missed Koopa.
Id personally prefer N64 because it has more shortcuts/tricks (intended and unintended), awesome for speedrunning. What i like more about Super Mario Kart is the soundtrack and graphics.

Mario kart 64 has the worst rubber banding in the series, but goddamn is it bullshit some times

The worst Mario Kart... in the entire series. One of the worst racers available for the time. CTR, DKR, F-Zero, Wipeout, GT, NFS, all shit all over MK64.

I'm making a point that MK64 is the absolute bottom of the barrel back then, every other racer (aside from shovelware) was way better. Fuck it, add Ridge Racer to the list.

It's a decent kart game but yeah it gets overrated by some people by claiming it's "much" superior to other kart racers, which isn't true.
What about underrated ones? Mickey's Speedway USA is actually pretty great, but barely mentioned.

Can't say which one is best. I like em all for different reaaons 'cause it's allll Mario Kart baby.
Also, Wario's VO was and is the best in any game ever.
CRT was great, same with Jak X CR.
You can't compare combat racing games with sim or arcade racers, apples and oranges kids.

You just had to be playing the games at the times to apprecite them. Others will say MK is for babies or normie cucks or whatever other buzzwords, but then they're probably the ones who propagated the ol bit wars.

I would lmost have killed for all consoles that were out at any given era of gaming.
