Nah. Gauntlet IV on Genesis is a port of Gauntlet. Gauntlet II on NES is a pretty decent port of Gauntlet II by NES standards while Gauntlet on NES would definitely best be described as an adaptation.

Gauntlet for the NES has a soundtrack (which is repetitive but quite good), but I guess it's not a port of the arcade version if that's what you meant.
