I bought one of these a few years ago by the same company and I was shocked when I learn that the console didn't have a fucking red composite port. So, I was only able to output 1 CHANNEL of sound and it sounded like absolute shit.

How do you fuck that up?

With HDMI it shouldn't be a problem. I also wish they included Alex Kidd in Shinobi World. Much better than Lost Stars and Enchanted Castle.

Nah, the cartridge functionality on this model is like the Retron-5 where it dumps a temporary copy of the entire cart and then runs the dump in a software emulator. You can see the dumping progress bar in the video in >>4121064

They fixed most of the glaring problems like pitch issues, but it's still far too harsh and the levels are off on some games. I expect the same sloppy work from this product.

They have never done anything to earn our trust. Every product they've ever produced has been half-assed except the Atari Flashback 2, which was designed by an outside group. Then they decided to cut ties with that group, re-design it themselves, and every subsequent Atari Flashback has been significantly worse.

They've never produced a quality product in-house. They stay in business by being extremely cheap, not good.

This looks like a model 1 and the gold standard is the model 1, so obviously I'm basing it on the good (non-VA7) Model 1s. Both of the non-VA7 variations on the model 1's audio circuit sound great. This emulation does not.
