You liked Rayman 3? I thought it was pretty mediocre, but fun nonetheless; especially those disco board levels. You'd really enjoy Rayman 2 although it does try to be 'darker' than the rest of the series. If you don't like bugs, it could possibly get a little uncomfortable for you at places such as the cave of bad dreams and The Canopy but it's a good experience.

If I remember correctly, the swimming portions kinda suck, a few of the latter stages are difficult as shit and don't have the same game style as the rest of the game focuses more on riding the shell and whatnot but it's a great experience.

Not as pick up and play as the other games in the series since you'll be spending ~10-25 minutes per stage rather than ~5-15 in Origins and the original. Hoodlum Havok had pretty long stages too, didn't it?

I prefered the swimming portions in Rayman 2 because you could actually use the 3 dimensions. I mean, what's the point of swimming in Havok when you just follow a surface. It's like walking on the ground, and you can't jump

In Rayman 2, Rayman is shown to be a new addition to the world not created by Polokus, meaning he somehow left the world of Rayman 1. How is Mr. Dark still referenced in Origins and Rayman 3? Betilda from the original game is also one of the first faeries you save in Rayman Origins.

What happened to Li, the fairy? She was cool as fuck, man.

Henchman was my favorite character in that game. And I think Origins resets the series.

The original Rayman was goofy and fun but with a point. The second was holy shit srs but with an immersive world. The third one was much more comedic and didn't take itself serious.

The first one is a fucking trip and one of the first games I bought for the Wii. It was fun and goofy and I assumed it was a one time spin-off like Rayman M. It was enjoyable. I even bought one of the sequels and the game just got sorta... disturbing. Like, pulling rotten teeth from Rabbid mouths and shit disturbing.

I thought the Rayman franchise was done for good... ;_;
