I think you have to die first, In 2 wasn't there a cop that was alive and talked for a bit before he turned or something?

>> No.4108146

Pretty certain that canonically none of the RE protags ever actually get bit, thus avoiding infection. Either that or they're naturally immune.

>>4107902

They have not been bitten.

Stop confusing/mixing actual gameplay with the plots.

She was canonically infected once. It's why you played Carlos during a section of RE3 and was one of the driving points in RE5.

>For story purposes, however, most of the main characters in the games were never canonically bitten or stabbed, though even highly infectious real world viruses do not always infect the victim after one exposure (but given the relentless attacks of those infected, one exposure might not necessarily mean a single scratch or bite). A "Dry Bite" is possible as well, so anyone bitten has at least a 1% chance of not getting infected. Evidence for this can be seen when an Eliminator bites Rebecca Chambers during a cutscene in Resident Evil 0.

Got them all. They're pretty good, not great, but still decent reads.Gamewise they cover everything up to RE 0 and while they do add some origional characters it was nowhere to level of the movies

Agreed with this till you mentioned movies, are you for real? What possible joy as a Resident Evil fan do you get out of that blundering posh boy faggot making deeply stupid movies that are nothing to like the source material and are just star vehicles for his pancake titted shit actress wife?

To anon who asked, as other anon said S.D Perry books are not exactly groundbreaking but they capture the tone quite effectively, are easy to read and contribute to the lore (all of it non canon) fairly intelligently. If you can deal with the shame of reading novelisations and pseudo-sequels of video games you could definitely choose worse.

I think you misunderstood what I wrote there,I said the books do add some origional characters but they're nowhere near as bad as the movies.

And one more thing I have only seen parts of the first movie and thought it was shit,I've never even looked at the sequels, only ready summaries on wikipedia.
