So. I work at a place and a customer brought in Illbleed so i bought from them on the cheap..
I want to invest in a Dreamcast now, what can i do with it now, i hear it's easy to play games on and all that. I haven't had one in years.

Great time to buy, Dreamcast consoles and controllers are still pretty cheap.
The vast majority of DC consoles will play burned CD-R discs no problem, and the vast majority of dreamcast game images you will find for download are ready to burn and play without needing any modifications.
Since loading software from burned CDs is so easy, there is a fair amount of dreamcast homebrew including games (the most polished ones are mostly shmups) and emulators (the Dreamcast can handle 8-bit systems very well, SNES and Genesis not as well, decent with NeoGeo CD games, and surprisingly runs Playstation games almost perfectly thanks to Bleem).
Some of the latest developments in the dreamcast enthusiast scene including bringing old multiplayer games back online (which you can now easily connect to if you have access to a linux computer and a modem) and rediscovering complete but unpublished games.

it runs maybe 25 playstation games, at best, because bleem was only made for tekken, gran turismo and metal gear. also lack of buttons on the dreamcast controller affects a lot of ps games.
