I agree with this.

BTW it's sad that so many people use 1st gen wifi routers 300 feet away from them with ADSL to play online.

They were designed to be played in arcades.

Online is simply the next best thing so it's what people gravitated towards. Play a game that's popular enough and you won't have to be matched with the one other person on earth who's online when you are.

Fighting games are bigger now than ever, if you want to get into them it's a great time. But if you want to get triggered and have melt downs, it's always a great time for that too. Hold I'm I'm gonna make some popcorn, this looks like another fun thread coming up.

How isn't it what the developers intended when it was included in the first place?

And what kind of loser faggot even cares about what "the developers intended"? Even more so with retro games. These people worked on in nearly, or more than 20 years ago. Some of them are dead right now.

I don't like single player modes in fighting games because they make you think you're good. Things get ugly when someone who beat very hard a million times goes up against anyone even remotely serious. It's discouraging

>Things get ugly when someone who beat very hard a million times goes up against anyone even remotely serious. It's discouraging

That person who beat hard plays like someone who has practiced against a computer and that really just makes them easy bait for an experienced vs player.

Like is all about how we take defeat though. Fighting games like most things in life, there will always be people better than you. Much better than you in fact. You can either look at them as a reason to feel discouraged or as a reason to feel inspired. The choice is yours, but one way leads to misery and the other to joy.
