To be honest, I have no clue what the rest of the world was playing for video games in the late 70s. I was in New Hampshire, and the only foreigners I knew were strange and seemed pretty impoverished.

Seeing that I was actually there, most of the households had only one TV and most of us kids were kicked out of the house until dinner. Video games were a rare treat, until the 80s.

I would assume, most of the rest of the world had it even worst that far back, unless you were a rich kid.

But, I am genuinely curious, what was the console in most of your homes in the late 70s to early 80s?
