Let's have a thread while we wait for their 3DS announcement. What type of game do you think they are working on? I'm so excited. This is going to be their first original IP since Ikaruga, given that this isn't just another sequel.

Also, what are your absolute favorite games from them?

It ain't retro, but I LOVED Astro Boy: Omega Factor

Why did they stop making original games? They made so many titles in their first few years, and then just stopped for the last 10 years. Now it's all licensed stuff and sequels that aren't as good as their original counterparts (with the possible exception of Star Successor).

Fav games from them... fuck it, all of them.
All their genesis, saturn/ps1, n64, gba, ps2 and wii games.

A 3DS announcement? I cannot contain my orgasms.

I love pretty much everything they've ever made, but my favorite will probably always be Mischief Makers because of its cheerful atmosphere, unique mechanics and cute protagonist.

I really hope it's one of the following

New Mischief Makers
New Ikaruga
New Guardian or Gunstar Heroes

man, I'm super excited. A treasure announcement is a godsend after how disappointing the 3DS castlevania was

I haven't, but I don't think I'd like it that much, judging from what I've seen.

Eh, Ikaruga is and should be one-of-a-kind game.
not to mention that it's basically a sequel to Radiant Silvergun.
They'll also have to make the soundtrck of second Ikaruga better than the first, which is nigh impossible.

I guess you're right. I loved Ikaruga but I'm not exactly sure what a new one could possibly bring to the table.

I never played Radiant Silvergun. I wouldn't mind a port of either, although I am hoping for something new.
