One time a friend brought over this Genesis game to my house. It was about robots or cyborgs or some shit. I think it was a sidescroller but I'm not sure. One really neat thing about the game was that you could pull off other robot's parts. Like take off another robot's arm (and maybe attach it to yourself and start using it - this part I'm not so sure of). It had neat sound effects, too. When you'd pull an arm off there'd be this weird sound, kinda like a video game plunger.

It was a really cool game to my ten year old brain, have no idea what it was. The art style was kinda dark (not as in dark edgy, I mean literally dark, lots of blacks and blues). For the love of god somebody tell me what this game was.

You can post your own queries too.

Cyborg Justice

It's okay, but not great. A weird mix of brawler and fighting game. Tough, slow, and repetitive but pretty.

i'm looking for a very japanese action-platformer-puzzle-shooter. you played as this little pink and putple witch, who was split evenly doen the middle with a different color on each side. because of this, and because it was 2d, you would be a different color depending on which way you were facing. you shot bullets that were the same color as whatever side of the character was facing the screen. this lead to puzzles where enemies were only susceptible to one color of bullet, so you had to position yourself correctly. there were FMV anime cutscenes and I'm pretty sure it was on the PS1

yeah I found it right after making this thead kek. should have googled first but at least there's conversation eh?

didn't recognise it so much first but when the robot did that animation where he pulls off the other robot's arm it had to be it because that's exactly what I remembered. I literally only played this game once in my life than somehow never saw it again

In the desert and you would come across enemies and new places.
You could pickup new party memebers I think.. I just remember wandering constantly and then running into dragons and shit? I was young as fuck.

Been asking about this one for years, never got a reply.

Point and click adventure game for kids, edutainment. There was a purple beast/monster that was friendly and was like the protagonist or the sidekick of the protagonist (maybe the protagonist was a kid).
Can't remember much else. This was mid 90s, 1994/1995.

A year ago we had a thread about a submarine game on PC, with a guide how to get it running on modern systems.
That is all I know. A good PC submarine game.

Please help me /vr/. First game that I remember playing. Nes game I think, it was a pro wrestling game where in the corners you had guys with black mask kind of like executioners that were able to change your mask and that gave you health I think.

>There was a "le wacky old man" monk character who had a staff and some fire-based attacks

>There may have been health pickups

This has been driving me up a wall since 2004.

Nice thread OP.

I think mine is hard but...

SNES game.
It is like JRPG
You start being a monster or something like that
You enter in a house where a kid or little girl is on bed and I remember you can attack him/her.
This all is just the intro of the game.

Well? It does exist or just dreamed of It?

Thanks

you start off in an inn with a grumpy innkeeper
if u attack him and he kills you, a cinematic will play with you burning in a black abyss with fire
when you travel on the road, the camera moves on the road with music playing till you reach a cemetery/stone circle and get to interact with this dark elf-looking character. fight him and you get to keep his sword if you kill him.

Some PC game, came on a cd 20 demos/shareware thing. I remember Jill of the Jungle being on there. The game was a motorcycle game with vector graphics. You rode around on elevated roads doing jumps and loops and crazy stuff. I remember some of the track portions were held up by greco-roman style pillars, in low poly vector looks.

There was this pretty furfaggy shmup game for DOS that I've never managed to find. I think it was vertical, but only because every PC shmup was back then. Protag was some sort of a cat person and I remember distinctly that according to the plot this evil alien race called "humans" either were invading or had invaded the galaxy/world/whatever

>> No.4014575

It was a game where it's a planet and each player is a colour and whom ever colours all of the planet with their colour wins, and you could like shoot missiles at the opposing colours and whatnot. Played it like

I just had a spontaneous flashback to a game for N64: it's almost like starfox, but instead of flying through space itself you're flying on planets like mars and jupiter. And you aren't flying as much as hovercrafting. I think there was a versus mode at least, with weapons you'd shoot in almost twisted metal style. Can't remember if third person or first person. ...

>>4014575
That shit sounds familiar but I can't remember a place or name for it.
