These things were all the rage here in Argentina in the 1990s. We called them "Family Game" because that's what most of them said under the Chinese moonspeak runes.

All the 1990s cool kids had the real deal though, as well as Gameboys and Sega. (And later the PS1)

The usual path was getting a "Family Game" when you were 5-8, the SNES or Sega around 8-10 and later the PS1 when it came out.

All the Family Game cartridges sold were bootlegs from China too. Fun shit. I remember playing Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers 2 and not understanding a single thing.

I can't wait for the 4-in-1 with Sesame Street counting AND Rapelay.

If that pocket games 5-in-1 actually is what appears to be, AND functions like a normal cart- then that's pretty legit.

I'm in contact with a Chinese company, gonna have some Famicom and GB cartridges made, the GB game will be that loli janken game. Unfortunetly, they're taking a really long time between emails, but it wil be worth it because the carts they make are pretty good quality. DIP-chips and pretty nice solid cartridge shells.

Just found this, considering buying it. I find it pretty amazing that there's new retro console controllers being made that aren't just shitty copies of the original without improvements. Would love to have something like the Micro Genius loaf-shaped controllers for Famicom, but this is nice too.

You might be able to take care of the d-pad issues with some electric tape, as is so oft discussed on /vr/. It's also plausible that mine was just a dud, which is also plausible with Chinese shit. Might be worth the few bucks to try.

It's just that I'd like to have new controllers, and it just feels shitty if you're buying a worse copy of the original. This is really especially a problem with the Famicom, where the only controllers that are of decent quality are of the awful square NES controller which digs into your hands after long sessions, but pic related looks way more comfy than the original, sucks that the d-pad is apparently shitty. Might buy one anyway, worth a try.

I've been searching for that game literally the last five years. I only remembered that you play as a giant floating head and that people were falling down from buildings shouting HELP! in comic book bubbles. I've been searching for the game with no success for so long, and I stumble upon this thead and look at the pic you posted and see it and immediately remembered the name. I googled it and it's exactly that game.

Thank you, friend. Thank you so much. I wish I could buy you a pint, my man.

That was seriously a selling point, for all those yellow single game carts. The art is a thing of wonder. It's kinda funny, the guy said the "super ninja blade" cart was The Last Ninja, turns out it's Bad Dudes. Meanwhile the Power Blade 2 cart has the Japanese art for Bad Dudes on it and they didn't even bother to get rid of the Japanese title.
