When we weren't drinking mtn dew, a couple of Java Monsters were a nice kick of caffeine. They even mix well with rum if it's that kind of night. Iced tea is also a superior beverage during those hot summer nights.

How did I forget that game existed? There was a share ware thing I used to play that was one of my first DOS games, it was pretty much the light cycle game. Looked vaguely like this, isometric but with a much more limited scopre and cmyk graphics. Couldn't find a screenshot or remember the name for the life of me.

I have two beverage related /vr/ memories:

1) sharing several 2L bottles of Pepsi Kona with two of my best bros over a summer as we alternate between losing several quarters to Marvel vs Street Fighter, fishing/swimming in the creek and fucking each other up in GoldenEye.

2) cutting class with several of my best school friends, stopping down the Sev on the way to one friend's house and getting several 64oz cups between us of Frawg. Then giving ourselves sugar highs as we fuck each other up in SSB

Fun times, but sadly, both Frawg and Kona are out of production. And I don't know anyone to play multiplayer games with anymore. ):
Now, I'm stuck with single player games.

Back in the day, I usually drank Pepsi or Mountain Dew when gaming (this was back in the PS1 and PS2 era, before Mountain Dew became the meme drink associated with gamers)

Funnily enough, my first alcoholic drink was drank while I was playing Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on PS2 (I know 2006 is not retro, but still), I downed a whole bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill over a period of few hours playing GTA.

I still love Boone's Farm, though Jameson, Russian Standard, and Jack Daniels are way better for getting a nice buzz,

I usually just drink water and Barq's for lengthy sessions, but for fun sessions with friends, I usually will drink any sort of bootleg sodas we have. My buddy really enjoys this shitty bootleg Dr. Pepper clone, I think it's called Dr. Thunder. When I hang out with him we usually binge on that and make dumb jokes about Joel from Vinesauce and his adventures with bootleg NES games. For long sessions, I usually also munch on little sandwiches of pepper-jack slices with three slices of pepperoni on Triscuts, preferably the kind with spices on it.
