theres at least 20 "mario" games. Probably the most infamous ones are the Flinstones and the Joe & Mac versions.

Not really a mario game, but I do own a copy of Donkey Kong 4: The journey of over time and space for Game Boy. Having completed it, it is as crappy as it sounds

i had a lot of fun with jackie chan's action kung fu (mario 10), joe & mac (mario 32) and >>3865510 this way
not sure if these were the correct numbers chinese slapped on them
the pirate scene is really intriguing in a way, most of these things seem to have just sort of spawned and little is known about how they came to be

Yeah.

Here in central america there are consoles called Funstations that looks like a PS1 but its actually a system that play nes games and they usually comes with a cartridge with 9999 games in which most of them are multiple reskins with Mario and Pokemon.

So i grew playing many of these fake games.

These "funstation"/"polystations" used to be called Family Game back in the early 90s, and they were actually much better quality, were basically clones of the japanese Famicom.
Newer ones are NOAC (NES on a chip)
