I was curious because everyone was absolutely FAWNING over it online. Tried it, played 15 minutes, I do not see the appeal. Is the entire appeak that the game tries to subvert expectations? Because that got old after 5 minutes. The graphics are worse than shit, the humor is cringy as fuck.

I liked this game a lot better when it was called Cave Story, and was an actual game, and wasn't written like high-schooler's first tumblrbait fanfic. And didn't fucking suck shit directly from a camel's asshole.
