Isn't this a rip-off? Why does it cost $2,500 to replace DPCM samples of a game that's already finished?

He doesn't even allow you to change the dialogue. You have to read the script with PG insults like "funny muffin". It'd be great if he allowed you to say something like "FAGGOT AUTIST".

Why are all these kickstarters so bad? Besides this game seems like it'd only be fun for about 2 minutes.

Even the kickstarter for Mystic Searchers is a let down. That game doesn't look fun or interesting at all.

But honestly who would pay that much money? Besides could you really trust these guys to really make your dream game? They'd probably half ass it and they'd probably refuse to do anything they deemed inappropriate.

First, lol McWage kid.
Second, people who make indie shit don't even make that. They're largely unemployed and unemployable and work for peanuts. And I use "work" in the loosest sense. 10% of their $36k goal is allocated to pay. That's $7.2k for the entire team to develop the entire game. So 5-10 people. At least 5 months work. So that's $144-$288/month per person.
Third, "dream game" means whatever they can manage to do. I'm actually impressed with this project compared to other indie shit carts. Still the NES can only do so much
Fourth, getting paid $10k for someone to give you a game concept. Hot damn. I've got to start asking my CD to pay me every time he produces a new game concept.
