Could someone possibly diagnose my X'Eye? The system cannot play Sega CD games. I know it's not the laser, because it can play music CD's just fine (Genesis games run flawlessly as well). Also, on the startup screen, the X isn't visible, there's only a mess of evenly-spaced purple lines that move in the X's pattern.

Could be RAM or that fat sega chip. Open it up and look for the chip with a spider nest on it. That'll be the one.
