Because I was thinking about getting the Revo K101 plus. I don't have an original SP anymore so it just seems to make more sense. Anyone have one? My only concern is that it might be too small for my hands.

In short:
Turns out when you invert the pixels on your GameBoy screen (black ones go bright and vice versa) the contrast gets better, don't ask me why.
Of course you would want to retain a regular image, so you turn the polarization filter, too, which reverts the inverted image again but it retains its additional contrast.

Soldered on, not plugged in.
Backlight installing tends to be tricky for the same reason. You can't take out the screen entirely, and if you damage the ribbon cable while peeling off the old polarization filter and reflective screen, your DMG GB is ruined.
