I need a relatively short (not 40-60 hour FF type, 15-25 hours would be ok) psx jrpgs.

-final fantasys
-vagrant story
-vandal hearts

If you're playing Legend of Mana and want to finish the game without doing sidequests just do the quests with the fancy title card first. You'll know them when you get there, they either have a fairy or a dragon in the title card.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete is about 15-20hrs if you low lv the game and skip side quests.

Chrono Trigger is 10-15hrs, but the PS1 release has some of the worst loading times of any game I've ever played.

15 - 20 hours really is the ideal time for an RPG. I'm playing SaGa 2 right now, and only the bonus side quests have bumped it over 20 hours. It's so comfy too have a short and simple world.

Maybe on the first playthrough. I had around 100 hours on the timer solely because I couldn't find the Lunar Harp and was stuck, so I settled for grinding for hours.

Arc the Lad is technically only like 10-15 hours. But it's also mostly set up for Arc the Lad 2 which is 60-80 hours, so yeah.

Try Galerians, it's a fun surival horror RPG and only 5 hours long or so. Do drugs to give yourself psychic powers.

If you go for the true ending(you absolutely should no reason no to) its 30+ hours easy. I spent 60 hours but I did some grinding for runes like double strike rune and some missable recipes.

Tales of Phantasia is about 30 hours or less, skip the side content(pluto summon is not worth it, there is nothing left to do plus going 21 floors back and forth is mindless) get the translation patch
