Also yeah, it probably is, but I have a love-hate relationship with this game because I used to have it, lost it (along with other games) and now I can't purchase it back.

I know I could emulate but meh.

Not even close.
The platforming is rigid and annoying at times.
The problem with consistently climbing/jumping on stairs failing, thus leading to your doom, is still around.
Every jump's landing, is followed by a rigid pause.
Bad flow overall.

Epic music. Great level design. Fun all round.
But best platformer it is not.
Megaman X is infinitely better and more fun from a platforming perspective.
