What's your favorite generation of retro consoles? Mine would have to be the fifth. I love its blend of amazing 2D games and experimental early 3D games.

Genesis and SNES. The graphics and sound were charming and it was the last time that gameplay was a high priority although fucking square with final fantasy was trying really hard to be style over substance. Games are a shit medium for Disney stories or comic book drama. The only one that did it properly has been half life.
