What did they say? I only assumed Jynx was based off ganguro and manbas because of her filtry attitude and blonde hair with dark skin, but I was just guessing.
If GameFreak actually said they made Jynx based on ganguro, then it's official.

I wouldn't really mind if it was a blackface though, I mean, I think ganguros are made fun of for looking like blacks, but yeah...

I'm still weirded out by ganguros/manbas.
There seem to be different degrees of freakiness to them, the ganguro are the ones that look more "normal", I guess, like they're trying to look like tanned california girls or something, while manbas look just like Jynx.
