You had to actually make up something we do? Really? I'll give you a few actual examples.

There's a few weird ones. A lot of people use the phrase beat-em-up interchangeable with fighting game. So, some people would refer to Tekken 2 or VF2 as beat-em-ups, even in old magazines, but then refer to them as fighting games in the same article. It's weird, and was always a bit confusing.

That was because of Thatcher's moral police during the video nasty era. A bunch of stuff was censored in general media, in particular ninjas and most of all fucking nunchuks for some reason, those weapons no one ever cared about. In fact, in the Hero Turtles cartoon, Mike never actually uses his nunchuks in any scenes. They edited all of them out. And we noticed, too. Kids notice that kind of stuff.

The European version of Soul Blade had Li-Long's weapon changed to a sort of three-point-staff, even in the opening scene. I don't know how that instantly made it perfectly fine to the censors, but English censors have never really made any sense.
