How about an honorable mention to those sexy colored cartridges? Although I prefer how North America handled it, where colored ones were few, far between, and therefore special. What the hell /vr/? Do people not like the original famicom? Look at this sexy beast sporting a royal white and red combo with sexy gold highlights. Compact size, an eject button, a futuristic disk system, FM sound, I mean is this thing gorgeous or what? Famicom carts themselves still look good out of the principle of there being no homogeneous gray box they had to fill a la NOA. Maybe a little more on the toy side, but far from the over industrial VCR look the NES went for. Clear winner of 8-bit design right here.
