Maybe in North America, the only place where the N64 had some relevance.
In the rest of the world the "top games" from that generation were PS and PC games, even in Japan the N64 was largely ignored, to this day the Saturn left a stronger mark than the N64.
Not saying the N64 didn't have its share of good games like Hybrid Heaven, there are also a few really neat niche games like the only 3D Dezaemon title, but it was terribly lacking in literally everything and no silly argument is going to change that, especially a "quality over quantity argument" when the quantity of most genres is less than five games, only one of which turns out to be actually a good game.
And no, all those games like S&P or the Zelda games aren't really the games people make them out to be, just like Metal Gear Solid and FFVII, they aren't special snowflakes.
