I remember watching this one death reel from the original, no voiceovers, just some guy who wasn't very good at the game dying over and over again in various horrible ways.

It was the funniest goddamn thing I'd seen since it made the game seem impossible.

Fallout had quite a few cool death animations. It's what they tried to emulate in the later games with the silly gore, but they really should've kept some mix of dynamic dismemberment and pre-set animations.
