You know what, I keep hearing all the time how great the Saturn is but all I hear are the same exact games: Legend of Oasis, Shining in the holy ark, Shining force 3, Dragon Force, Panzer Dragoon, etc. Not saying that these are bad games by any means but surely there's more (fan translations included) games out there right?

It would make a lot more sense to provide a complete list of the good saturn games you're already aware of and then ask for more. There's likely a ton of great games that you've never heard of but still aren't considered obscure.

This game doesn't get nearly enough love.
Not quite as good as Puyo Puyo or Panel de Pon, but it's up there.

I always wondered if there were any worthwhile STV exclusives (as in not released on the Saturn)

I loved that game but it has a huge problem, it has no counter attack system. So if both players make a 60+ damage combo, then whoever wins is up to plain damn luck.

The music was pretty cool, especially the remix on the PAL release.

I have a large amount of Saturn games, and I would say this list is pretty comprehensive. I went through a bit of my library and through titles like "Grid Runner" is pretty obscure yet pretty good and still found them on this list. However, so far I don't think -Groove on Fight- is on the list. It is also known as Goketsuji Ichizoku 3 or Power Instinct 3. The game is an Atlus release: a tag fighting game like the Capcom Vs. series with weird character designs by Murata Range. I will give credit to this image having a most of games I like on the Saturn (and quite a few I am still looking for, but are too expensive).

[I also like Advanced V.G., which is not on the list, but the sequel on PS is much better, and the original is not something I would tell others to go looking for on the Saturn]

I stopped when I found one ... don't think I could find another as the list is pretty good.

when i was a kid my dad had a sega saturn, and there was this rpg style 3rd person 3d game that i can't remember the name of.

it's randomly generated to some extent, but there's always this graveyard you go to first, and you fight a bunch of skeletons and raid the tombstones for loot.

there's a bunch of slimes or jellies in the world, of a different color.

there's a mansion you go to and kill a vampire.

eventually you go into these caverns with lava and kill a dragon.

does anyone know what i'm talking about?

OP never mentioned anything about the game being good.

Congo is pretty obscure, Saturn-exclusive FPS based on the Congo movie (as you can see on the title), but it's actually a separate story from the movie, you're some fat nigga lost in the congo shooting giant mosquitos, spiders, chameleons, totems, and of course big apes.

It has a few interesting ideas, for example a yellow line that tracks your steps on the map, so you can see where you've already been.
However it has also bad ideas, like a "fever status" that makes the screen turn yellow-ish, and the camera moving side to side, and while you're under the effect you can't see the map either.

The intro FMV is actually kind of scary.

I love this art and feel in 90s Japanese Western inspired fantasy.

It seems that just as the West we dont make good aesthetically pleasing fantasy anymore.

Is think Rayman on the saturn is almost the absolute peak of 2D platformer. Its a beauty.
