After running re-translation ROM you've just patched, you will be stuck at "integrity check". To resolve this, you must continue from an "empty" save file:

Description:
An "empty" (regarding game progress) save file is needed to skip CRC (integrity) check in any XP/zenny edit of the original re-translation ROM. It has zero game progress recorded on it. Use it every time you want to play the patched game from the beginning. If you already have a save file made on original re-translation ROM, you can use it with the edited version of ROM. For snes9x, copy "empty" save file and patched re-translation ROM to the emulator folder and make sure the copies have the same name. Extensions must be:
"srm" for the save file ("bof2.srm"),
"smc" for the ROM ("bof2.smc").

To make an "empty" save file yourself in snes9x, you need a clean re-translation ROM (i.e. without XP/zenny patch applied to it in this case). Make sure there's no save file with the same name as re-translation ROM in the emulator folder, then run the ROM up until integrity check is complete. Copy or move newly-created save file (the one with the same name as the ROM + "srm": for "bof2.smc" ROM you get "bof2.srm", at example) to a safe location - you will need it many times.

Adding all this shit that's not supposed to be in the game, going as far as to replace the title screen with a fucking DragonForce song (I know you can patch it out), is absurd. I Just want to play a game the way it is meant to be played and that ain't even close to it.
