Just for nostalgic reasons. IG2 is comfty, too. In general, Germany and Austria seem to have nice industry simulations.
Traffic Giant was nice, too.

Protip: Blue Byte released a freaking awesome remake of Settlers 2 called "Settlers 2 10th anniversary edition".
It's really good, but not widely known outside of Germany. Pic related.

I just checked and it's now available on GOG and on sale for 2,29 Eurobucks right now.

Thinking of it.. it would be nice if we could arrange /vr/ multiplayer sessions every once in a while.
Maybe get /v/ into the boat so we'd have more players. I know they have a Steam group for Quake.

Chrono Trigger with maxed chars & all weapons/armors/accessories -- I've played it on DSi whenever I'm bored. Most of the time you can use any kind move to beat enemies into a pulp with almost any kind of character/gear combo. Even beat Lavos to death with Chrono's mop only

The remake doesn't let you change the game speed. Sitting there and waiting until your buildings are finished is not relaxing. It's just boring.

It also dosn't have that sweet 2D graphics, im not a fan of 3D in games like settlers and homm they are best in 2D imo.

Seeing the little guys building,working and expanding their settlement is just so enticing.

Seconding Railroad/Transport Tycoon.

A-Train is also great, where you're into transport and real-estate, helping the city to grow. Bonus with day-night cycles and seasons for maximum confiness.
