Not a very practical wish. You'd be the same guy in a different time period. I know I'd be.

Wouldn't you rather follow in the footsteps of those who inspire you? We should be trying to create the next golden age of vidya. We are the future and all that stuff, you know..

that video is so 90s it hurts. I also wish I could have worked at SEGA during the 90s. It would have been rad as fuck. I used to drive by their HQ in SF as a kid all the time with my mom. Wtf happened to the bay area? it used to be actually cool now its a hell hole. I am trying to make my own game in my spare time but fuck working in the industry today.

Same, not sure what I want to do with my life

>wanting to work for Sega
>so you can be treated like shit for being a gaijin at a faceless corporation run by japs
>tearing your hair out with stress from the bureaucracy and hilarious mismanagement
>someone higher up takes the credit for all your work
>finally get fired when the Dreamcast flops

You'd have the satisfaction of knowing you made something cool, but after hearing all of the insider Sega gossip from the 90's, no thanks

Liberals?

I mean that's what I hear.

And homeless, that's the other thing you hear.

I have that same drive OP, working to make games, just hard to do solo, and I'm not sure how to find people that I can trust/mesh with well enough to work on a project.

My goal is to retire as early as possible so that I can do whatever I want.

Thats tru for some reason I completely forgot that sega would die like 5 years later. I still think working at sega between 1993-1996 would have been awesome but any time after that you would have to deal with Bernie and the Japs fucking everything up.
