My mind was completely and utterly blown the other day. I was watching some let's player when I found out that this minigame was actually tic tac toe. I thought you had to get three O's in a row, then move onto the next. I didn't know you can get three O's in a row diagonally or vertically.

Like I thought you could only do O, O, O or O, X, X or O, O X.

Actually I didn't know you could do any of that shit with the cape either. Or press down and up when you're swimming to go slower and faster which I also learned from the same lets play.

I know I'm a dumbass but this is too much to bare.

You have to get three green circles in a row, but sometimes you get a brown block with nothing in it which cancels it. You start at the bottom and you can't jump down after you jump up a level.

I think you're confused. The pic you posted isn't tic-tac-toe at all, you only get a 1-up for getting three circles all on the same level horizontally. Trying to match them up vertically doesn't do anything, and there are 5 levels so that would be weird trying to match 3 anyway.

I think you're getting mixed up with the other bonus game that has you match power-ups in a 3x3 grid and actually does score lives like tic-tac-toe.
