Only if he has a starman, and for a short period of time. The strongest character is Koopa/Bowser. It takes a lot of fireballs to kill, Mario can die in 1 hit, or 2 if he has a mushroom/fireflower.

Yeah Ayla/Crono can do some mad damage. Especially when you get the sword for Crono that guarantees a critical hit.

Chrono has the biggest damage output.
Ayla can inflict 9999 damage with Bronze Fist, but otherwise Luca has a slight edge, both at techniques and normal attacks (with Wondershot or Spellslinger).

Robo is still the best character though, he can heal all the HP of your party at once, his magical damage output is on par with Magus, and his physichal damage output is pretty good too. Well, once you fix his speed and magic, that is.
