What are some great co-op games for the snes, nes or sega?

Other than Turtles in time, secret of mana, gunstar heros, battle toads, double dragon, contra, donkey kong country ect. I'm looking for things a little less obvious. I keep seeing the same damn 15 titles in other forums. I was wondering if you guys might have any better suggestions.

There's 100 World Story, it's an RPG/Board game for NES, there's an english patch for it floating around, and I just totally love playing that game with other people, it's just so much damn fun.

This is one of my favorite co-op games. Good luck finding a physical copy though, all Natsume titles are very expensive.(limited release/overpricing)

You said battle toads, and you said double dragon, but you didn't say Battle Toads AND Double Dragon!

But seriously, Final Fight 2/3, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Rock N' Roll Racing (though it's not TECHNICALLY co-op, you can go through the whole campaign with 2 players in the races, assuring you get 1st and 2nd place by not fucking eachother over) are some of the better ones that come to my mind, besides the ones you mentioned.

I kinda covered it by "ect." along with smash tv, zombies ate my neighbor, the turtles games and stuff. It's not that I don't like them it's just I've already played most of those to fuck and back as a kid and I want my player 2 and I to have a new experience, even if it is retro gaming.

Yeah man, I totally understand. You could also look up some SHMUPS if you're into those, most have a 2 player function (raiden trad, 1942, etc.).

It's a shame starfox on the snes didn't have splitscreen like the 64 version did. That shit was amazingly fun.

I've played a lot of those unfortunately they just don't have lasting appeal for me. And most of them are just too "beyond the curve" for me to really get into. Not that I'm looking for easy but the enjoyment/effort does not really seem to produce a result in my favor. Although there was this Batman game for the sega where you took off on gliders after some of the on foot stages that handled like a really slow Shump. Now that I really liked because it was just short enough to enjoy and different from the normal gameplay to give the game a bit more depth of play. I think mr Freeze was the final boss but I can't remember a great deal else about it. Other than Harley Quinn was the first boss and she was in this derpy looking tank thing and the second boss was the joker using a crane. The 3rd level was like going across the roofs of a convoy of trucks. The 4th was like a unfinished sky scraper where you fought 2 faces minions then took off from the top in gliders.

I LOVED that power rangers movie game.

My buddy and I used to play it for hours. We finally beat it once. It's really the most well done power rangers game. It could have worked with any other theme. It was that good.

I went back and played it a few months ago and was surprised at how well it held up. I still enjoyed beating it by myself.
