There are people who haven't beaten this?

What's your excuse? It's easily one of the best NES games.

lets talk about castlevania.

I've beaten Castlevania I - IV and Symphony of the Night. I own Vampire's Kiss/Dracula X, Next Generation/Bloodlines, 64, Legacy of Darkness and Chronicles but haven't gotten round to playing them yet. Needless to say, I if I was able to complete III, its safe to assume I'll be able to complete the rest whenever I can be bothered to.

I've figured that part out because I'm still trying to kill death, so I needed a way to get to him full.

My most reliable technique that does not uses any particular subweapon is to kneel before a knight, killing any medusa that comes to you, and after the knight throws an axe stand up, whip it and jump towards the knight whipping him as fast as you can, you'll kill medusas as you walk. That jump usually requires some good maneuvering (sometimes you've gotta jump a medusa and the axe, so you need to be good at timing the flying pests), but learning those timings will help you dance with death and his sickles.
