Name a better retro console than the SEGA Dreamcast.

Protip: you can't.

I owned both and I got more enjoyment out of the Saturn's library. Dreamcast didn't really have anything that held my attention apart from PSO.

The Dreamcast library was rather anemic all things considered. Most of the good games got rereleases or much improved sequela on better systems.

Only 1 stick, and it's badly placed
Feels light and cheap like the N64 pad
The handles are too narrow, so they aren't comfortable, like for example the GC or XBOX controllers
The top part looks terrible if you don't have a VMU connected
Cable comes out the wrong end

Huge, awful d-pad, only 1 analog, 4 face buttons and 2 shoulder ones plus start. No built-in rumble, and the cord is on the wrong side.

They created the pinnacle non-analog pad on the Saturn, and then they fucked it up in every single way for the Dreamcast.

Yeah, Treasure never really cared for Sony much, which is why I think that's the source of the shitposting: mad Sony fanboys jealous of Sega and NIntendo getting Treasure games.

A steady stream - right through the machine's lifecycle - of "Triple A" 3D and 2D arcade ports, totally original and unique Sega console titles like Nights and Panzer Dragoon, excellent ports /crossplatform titles like Bomberman (TEN PLAYER!!!) Quake, Duke Nukem 3D (with EIGHT PLAYER DEATH TANK!!) plus odd gems like Guardian Heroes, Dragon Force, Dark Saviour etc

And the key thing is, as I said at the start of my post, these games came in a *steady stream*, there was always something new to look forward to, right up until the machines last dying days owners still got rewarded with shit like Fighters Megamix and Burning Rangers.

Despite the console's (and the company's) commercial failure I think Sega actually peaked during the Saturn's lifespan. AM2, AM3 and Sonic Team were making amazing games in their own style.

Dreamcast? Can't remember much about it apart from being massively underwhelmed with Sonic 3D and VF3. As I said before, PSO was the only thing that really held my attention - and it was probably Sonic Team's last great game.

...or just regular people that aren't aligned with a particular brand, yet get tired of the fact you Treasure fanboys tend to take your dick sucking for the company to every thread you go. It's not like Sony needed Treasure anyways, as they already had plenty of (better) third-parties under their belt.

Well to be fair you DO sound like a butthurt Sony fanboy.
There are no "treasure fanboys", it's like saying there are capcom or konami fanboys... it's just a developer that many people like, but Treasure never did any hardware piece. Fanboys are usually aligned with hardware, not software.
