This is going back to the first revisions but some games had issues with layers just not rendering properly and sound being fucked.

Just because it's a hardware clone doesn't mean it's necessarily 100% compatible. The NOAC-Famiclones aren't, not even the older 90s Dendy-clones, and the GB-boy Colour isn't 100% compatible, even if it's really good, and then you also have to consider how much the quality seems to vary between units.

Nintendo didn't use a 50Hz screen because handhelds aren't restrained by TV standards you stupid fuck. 50hz was only used on consoles in PAL regions to adhere to their TV standards. Handhelds are not TV displays.
