For you it's 1994 ? 1998 ? Or maybe 2000 ?

>> No.3410034

People will reply with the years they have best memories of

>> No.3410080

1982/3 was a great time, although it was largely hit and miss. It was right in the middle of the boom so there were coders and publishers alike everywhere trying to cash in.
1991 had good games across the board. The Mega Drive had some of its best games released that year, Lemmings was released for the Amiga, and Another World came out.

I was more aware in 1991 so I'll go with that as the best year in games.

>> No.3410104

There are wikipedia articles for every "year in gaming" and a quick browse of those really shows that the idea of the mid to late 90s and very early 2000s being a real peak.

Every year has been great for me so far. I honestly don't think I could pick one over all the others.

Literally every game on there was retro. Unless you're one of the three dumbass little pissbabies that thinks the sticky is law. It's wildly inaccurate. If 2004 isn't retro to you than you're in the wrong board. You could try /vg/, or maybe some shmups forum or something if you want to push your sad little pre-2000 meme, but here we use logic and reason. Keep your shitposting to other sites please.

Nah. The board rules are super retarded, it's true. But you are completely aware of what you're doing posting a mosaic of games that are outside what this board was set up to talk about. It's a weak ass effort too.

Every year is the best year for games.

Ahh gotcha. Should have known it was some reference to /v/. Not that it wasn't an awesome year for games, I just didn't see anything unusual about it.
