it's interesting how good SNK was at the whole global diversity thing.

For a long time their biggest hero was pure American. None of this 3/4th Japanese crap and they even had the whole universe bet set in Southtown USA before going international with KOF.

And yeah they got the usual YOUNG JAPANESE HERO thing going now there's still a shit town of Americans, a shit town of Hispanics, plenty of Koreans, a Canadian or two, some Italians etc

Anna and Nina Williams are the only fighting game characters from my country (Ireland) that I can think of right now. You'd think there would be more, given how stereotypical these games usually are and how easy it would be insert a fiery haired, beer guzzling pub brawler into practically any fighting game series. >Irish vidya character

American vidya character #1 is from New York, USA
American vidya character #2 is from Los Angeles, USA
American vidya character #3 is from Philadelphia, USA
American vidya character #4 is from San Francisco, USA
American vidya character #5 is from Chicago, USA
American vidya character #6 is from Detroit, USA
I'm sure there are shitload of other American vidya characters from other/smaller cities as well

>/hou/ so rarely represented in video games.

Really, a crime. I just attribute it to the fact that Texas really has no cultural presence outside of the whole wild west thing.
