What I like about Gex as a series is that the concept is timeless and could be used well even today.

The games are about jumping between TV and film-based worlds, so there's plenty of relevant material to have Gex make fun of today.

Normally I'd be cynical about this sort of thing but this is a rare case where I think an IP being dug up from its grave could be a good thing.
