How could anyone have possibly beaten this quiz in Megaman Legend 2? You need either a guide or a long trial and error session, and even THEN there's usually a trick question involved.

Male tortie. Male calico cats are fairly rare.

Seems like something added to the English version. You'd probably be better off playing it in Japanese.

I spent 90 minutes on this fucking quiz minigame. There were points where I laughed out loud at the insanity of it all.

Damn. Got me again. I thought I would've known this one. I'm guessing "Madder"?

And here we have it.

The exact moment when Capcom went from a decent game company to the biggest son of a bitch bastard developer in Japan.

The correct answer in the game is cedar, although the real-world scientific establishment would disagree.

No way. I'm not being sarcastic. CEDAR???
Again I thought I new my trees. I have to grab my Field guide.

Is that some sort of trick question or why would they include a non-element and misspell Nickel?
Calcium is Ca, Nickel NI and Cerium Ce so I don't understand which would be represented by one character.

Which one is the supposedly right answer?
Chitin is not an element and the other three are represented by two characters in the PTE.

That's small potatoes compared to the quiz in Earthworm Jim 2.

I would've guessed Cerium since I knew for sure the other three were wrong.

But Cerium is also wrong.

I thought it might have been for the Jap periodic table, but Calcium, Cerium and Nickel all have one character.

Dang, you're committed OP. I finished MML2 yesterday, didn't bother with the 100 question Quiz. I never used the beam sword in MML1 so I figured getting the Zetsabre would be a waste of time

According to gamefaqs, Cerium is the correct answer.

Apparently is was Potassium (K) in the original and they mistranslated the Japanese カリウム(Kalium) to Cerium (which is セリウム in Japanese).

I'd think Americans know how to spell nickel due to the 5-cent coin.
