I'm about to win a Mega man X for SFC on ebay for $11.50, beats paying $30.00+

X2 uses a special chip that only X2 and X3 use. Unless they gutted the chip from the more expensive X3 to make a repro of X2 then I would highly doubt anon just bought a repro.

Rockman X2 and Megaman X2 are the same game, of course they use the same chip. No one is going to drop $30 for one to make a repro of the US version. After the man hours of building a repro that $40-50 difference in price really isn't worth it.

any of my miracle finds have been on CL or at random garage sales, even thrift stores are either dried up or wisiing up to ebay prices
