I know you guys like to be ignorant, but I must inform you that Brazil is just 1 country from latin america, not the whole continent.

The actual most popular Sega system in south america is the Sega Genesis.

FTFY, because here Perú it was a lot easier to get an SNES.

Mega Drive would need to outsell Master System by more than 2 million to win the SA market.

but putting an entire continent as a market is kinda dumb, but I disgress.

Start with the G8 countries, then pick and choose from the list of the latest "G8+X" summit, then add anyone who remains from the founding members of the EU. The rest are all pretty much shitholes.

Chile is full of Atari computers, because retailers in the late 80's bought them for pocket change when the NES and the Genesis were the dominant consoles on the USA. Is easier to find a full working atari computer with games than a Super Nintendo or any sega system for example. To the point there was a company here who made Atari multicarts. They even invented a way to load atari games from VHS tapes.

BR here.
That's absolutely true. They fucking love Fifa and games that run on toasters, because that's what most people have here.
On the other hand, the little black kids who grew up playing Winning Eleven on the PS for some reason think it's ok to pay 600 USD on a PS4 and about 50 USD on games, as long as you only need to pay installments of 5 or 10 USD a month, regardless of how many months it'll take.
Actually that's the only way anyone can ever buy anything expensive here.
