I am drinking whiskey and rum while escorting a giant penguin around a snowy town on Dezolis. I feel like I am the very definition of comfy.

I'm guessing that you're not comfy. I recommend getting yourself a giant penguin.

also this myth started with early LCD tvs, where it was somewhat true, not on computer monitors.

Not too retro but replaying games I had on the PSP on an emulator since I stopped playing them. With a tub of Ben and Jerrys.

Fuck me, Burnout had a good soundtrack.

Emulation on PC is alright. I still think top tier is original hardware plus flash cart. Which is what I'm gonna do for NES and SNES when I get the money for the consoles/flash cart. But emulation on PC pretty comfy too. I'm drinking some of my barcadi 151 with some diet coke and a shit load of ice. Feeling nice and warm on this cool afternoon playing contra on NES emulator.

I have it. The buttons are a bit wobbly and the dpad feels off. Compared to an actual snes controller, it's pretty bad. Great for jrpgs and other games that don't call for precision though.

Anon, you have just now revealed the fact you never played these games on the real systems and a CRT.

How does that make you feel?

>> No.3218114

>>3215494
Actually it was true everywhere. PC gamers didn't switch off the CRTs till a way longer time after LCD had taken over the TV market. The input lag and latency issues were super bad back in the mid 00s. People didn't start seriously switching over till we got down to 5ms and had things like the samsung 120hz lcd monitors. I remember when 2ms was good just a couple years back before we started to get the 1ms marketed monitors. Back before we had 144hz monitors and only a couple 120hz monitors to choose from. Fucking 1.6 pro scene fucking pushed the shit out of 120hz LCDs.

I upgraded the ram and put in an ssd. Also just got a new extended battery for it. Lasts about 8hrs.

Input lag does not exist on PC emulation (response time less than 10ms). Proves that you know nothing about emulation.

I play fighting games regularly and have never had a problem had a problem with it's d-pad. It feels great actually.

For some reason it's a little difficult to get it to register the X and A buttons at once though when I'm trying to play a character like Vega.

You are pathetic. What must it be like to go through life thinking so much of everything is "cancer"?
