Shit I remember playing this game and being too afraid to get past the first area.
Also is there a Doom 64 PC wad file somewhere around? I've been wanting to play this on PC but I don't want to have to play it on an emulator.

A passable way to play Doom 3, the flashlight helps a lot in making the game more fun. The game is infamous for whoring out jumpscares, you'll get used to them, and the flashlight helps spotting them in advance at times.
Make sure to try out the chainsaw.
It's an OKAY action game, but it falls flat to the originals in many ways.

Also a kind subpar console port of Doom 1 and Doom 2, they're playable, but you can do better.

Classic Complete is on PSN and features not only 1 & 2, but also TNT, Plutionia, Master Levels and No Rest For The Living. It also doesn't censor the Wolfenstein levels like BFG Edition does, if you want to play classic Doom on console, this is the best commercial option.
