How is it killing it? There's always gonna be trolling, schilling and flaming on /vr/ regardless of Youtube links or not. But for the most part, you can find some really great discussion on this site about games. If you look for it. The key is ignoring all the trolling, schilling and flaming, just like in real life.

As I look through the catalog here on /vr/, I don't see schilling as a problem. But if it became a problem, I'm sure mods would start deleting such threads.

So again, I vote we judge posts by content, rather than format.
